Tomatoes and other food crops are rotting in the rural areas for lack of buyers or transportation. Ask the ruling elites why and they will tell you they don’t have the foreign exchange or funds to import nuclear-powered fishing trawlers and tractors to evacuate the food produce from the farms.
But this where Agro Mindset see opportunities.
A serious one with the Agro mindset would:
1. Buy up the bumper catches of fish, employ 20 market women to smoke or salt it and then ship it to the interior for sale.
2. Buy up the tomato or yam harvest from the farmers, identify customers in the urban areas and ship it to them.
For everywhere we look, there is work to be done...
There are some who question the scale of our ambitions - who suggest that our system cannot tolerate too many big plans.
Their memories are short! For they have forgotten what men can achieve when imagination is joined to common purpose, and necessity to courage....
Without Courage, we are twice defeated...
THE BEST CULTURE IS AGRICULTURE
